We met at the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2017. We continued to date through college, and Matt graduated in 2019. The year 2020 brought change as Matt was deployed abroad with the Minnesota National Guard, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the U.S., and Olivia graduated college. Matt returned safely to the U.S. in late 2020, and in 2021, we moved to North Carolina together. Since then, we have been enjoying the warm weather in Raleigh!
Matt proposed to Olivia in August 2024, while visiting Matt's grandmother in Glacier National Park, Montana 🧡
Fun Facts:
• We have one cat named Riley.
• Matt works for Playmetrics, and Olivia works remotely for Seed Savers Exchange.
• We love going on daily walks year-round. Raleigh, "The City of Oaks," is a great place for walking!
